The Sangam hall stands on South Street in Nagore, where it was raised in 1922 with teak shipped home from Rangoon. The schools, the madrasa and the Ezhu Lebbai Jamia Masjid are all within the muhalla around it.

The Twelve Streets
On 22 November 1922, 330 men and women of these twelve streets signed the Ezhu Lebbai Jamia Masjid into the Sangam’s care. It has been held by three mutawallis ever since.
